Katie:  Lovebirds Ruby Mini Dress - Trashy Diva | Babymax Wedges c/o Restricted Shoes
Tootsie Cardigan in Ice c/o Doll Me Up | Bluebird of Happiness Brooch c/o Erstwilder

First, I wanted to update y'all on life as of late! Amanda is studying non-stop for the Bar exam so we opted to take February off from blogging, because there would be no humanly possible way for her to get everything done. If we were a tv show this would be our mid-season hiatus. ;) So while we are on this break, everyone be sure to wish Amanda good luck on the bar! Once things go back to normal, we will be back full-time blogging for y'all! We are also hoping to squeeze in a girl's trip, which would mean allll of the vacation inspired posts, yassss!

Now on to the review! Lovebirds is a super special Trashy Diva collection, because it is the first 'heritage print' to return! Last year, Trashy Diva announced that they would be re-releasing a special print every year, and Trashy Diva fans voted in a "March Madness" style brackets on what that print would be. Amanda and I will both admit that Lovebirds would not have been our heritage print of choice. We are both on team Liquor Print for life! However, the moment we found out that the collection would be on stretch rayon, we were so game, because stretch rayon is such a comfortable fabric!

This collection is absolutely stunning in person and I wonder why I ever doubted it's awesome-ness. The vintage-inspired print can really be worn during all seasons since the pastel colors are such a contrasting pop. It's really super versatile. I went with the Ruby Mini from this collection, because I'm a sucker for mini dresses!

Which Trashy Diva heritage print would you like to see return?

It's currently 2:30 am and I wish I had really interesting things to say about my personal life but,  I'm sleepy AF after studying for 12 hours and I'm thinking about Taco Bell and sleep. haha.  (y'all, I promise my complaining will stop in approximately 20 days or I'll have a crop of fresh complaints ;)).  As far as fashion is concerned, I'm really stoked to be rolling out another review of our favorite FAVORITE dress style, Hepburn Dress.  The dress is by The Pretty Dress Company but when we can, we pick these up from Unique Vintage since they're the exclusive US retailer (as y'all probably know).  I've been getting a lot of questions lately about fit when I wear TPDC items, so I want to clarify: I DO have to have these altered.  The UK8 (which is the smallest size) is a bit loose on me so I usually have them taken in however, I don't have to have them hemmed.  If you've tried the Priscilla Dress (same brand) these definitely run smaller than that and I'd say if your waist is 25-26 inches, a UK8 would fit just fine without needing alterations.

We were really excited to see the release of the Hepburn Wiggle Dress this month! Sometimes a wiggle dress is exactly what you need to boost your confidence, and this one does exactly that!  Since the material is thick and sturdy, it not only maintains its shape, but it also holds everything in.  Hallelujah! The only word of advice I have, is be prepared to have someone help you with the zipper.  I struggled like a crazy person getting this one zipped up, because of the longer sleeves.  Once it was on, it was so worth it!
