Katie:  Diamond Priscilla Swing Dress c/o Unique Vintage | Yellow Hairscarf - Similar
Pink Retro Castle Brooch c/o FemmeDeBloom | Mint Ione Heels - BAIT Footwear

Amanda: Candy Stripe Priscilla Swing Dress c/o Unique Vintage
Small World After All Brooch c/o FemmeDeBloom  |  Daffodil Heels in Whiskey c/o Restricted

We were so excited to get to spend the weekend together for a few different reasons.  The first was that we were finally able to play Pokemon Go together and take over all of the gyms in the area so we got bagels and iced coffee and drove around in our PJ's and had A LOT of fun doing that.  The second reason was that we knew once we finally motivated ourselves out of our pajamas, we got to dress-up and wear these absolutely b-e-a-utiful dresses from Unique Vintage who is the exclusive US stockist for The Pretty Dress Company (which is a luxury on saving on international shipping)!

The quality of the dresses is AMAZING and we were excited they have pockets!  The fabric is a really thick poly/cotton mix that almost felt like a canvas -- we loved it.  We both went with the smallest size which was a UK8 and we had a bit of room but this was nothing a belt or a tiny bit of altering wouldn't fit, they also run a bit on the longer end which is great for you tall ladies!  Our ONLY drawback was that we wished the straps were adjustable.

// Unique Vintage is doing 20% off sitewide with the promo code "LABORDAY"! Snag one or these dresses or something else pretty. <3

Amanda: Daffodil Heels in Whiskey c/o Restricted
Yellow Peasant Top + Jenny Skirt in Orange Print (dress version) + Underskirt - Pinup Girl Clothing

Katie:  Cosmo Blue Flats c/o Restricted | 1960s Collared Dress - Vintage
Rock Around the Clock Brooch c/o Erstwilder | Orange Hair Scarf - Vintage (Similar)

We're always looking for different shoes to incorporate into our wardrobe since we are both SO prone to just wearing various black flats on a day-to-day basis.  So, when we received these shoes from Restricted Shoes we were SO excited to be able to wear more colorful shoes with our already cheery outfits!

The flats were so extremely cushioned and comfy.  I think I should have sized up a half-size to a 9, but the 8.5's work just fine.  I love a classic ballet flat and I don't think I can ever have enough in my wardrobe... I mean, they go with literally everything!  The blue color was so unique so I really am excited to think of future outfits wearing them.  Amanda picked the Daffodil heels because of the cute little scallops and other detailing.  They're actually pretty comfy and have more padding than most of the other heels we own.  She took her normal shoe size.  A good pair of cute brown shoes is hard to find and we loved the honey tinge of these!

Restricted was amazing enough to provide us with a promo code for y'all!  To get 25% off regular priced shoes use the code JBGP25.  If you purchase anything be sure to post pictures in the comments so we can see what y'all got!

Blast Off!

Katie:  Blast Off! Brooch c/o Erstwilder | 1960's Dress - Vintage | Brooke Ballet Flat c/o Ballasox
Amaze Glasses in Champagne - Bonlook | Blue Hair Scarf - Amazon

Amanda: Star Burst Brooch c/o Erstwilder  |  Vintage Pink + White Stripe Dress - Buffalo Exchange
Pink Nylon Scarf - vintage  |  The Frankie Pump in Gold Glitter - Madewell

YESSSS, It's Friday!  We're both exceptionally excited for today, because after what feels like forever Amanda is making a trip back to Georgia so we get to see each other!  We've both been so busy with work (and school in Amanda's case) that it's hard to believe that the last time we saw each other was in June which is a huge change from our "once a month" usual weekends together.

We obviously wear a lot of vintage reproduction pieces due to their versatility and sturdiness, but it always feels good to wear the true vintage pieces in our wardrobe.  Buffalo Exchange just opened up in Nashville, so now Amanda has one more destination when hunting for vintage locally -- which is super exciting.  We have been huge fans of Buffalo Exchange for years so it's nice to finally have one we can shop regularly and I can't wait to shop when I visit Nashville!

Amanda:  Black Julia Dress c/o Pinup LulaRoe (The Storm Sisters)
Be Still My Bleeding Heart Brooch - Merriweather  |  Black Beret - Amazon  |  Cerelia Pump - Zulily

Katie:  Black Julia Dress + Floral Kimono c/o Pinup LulaRoe (The Storm Sisters)
Heartbreaker Flats - Amazon | Amaze Glasses in Champagne - Bonlook

Did y'all ever watch America's Next Top Model?  I remember watching it in high school and what appealed to me most was the concept of "model basics".  For those that didn't watch ANTM, basically that's just the idea that you should have a handful of basic items in your wardrobe that you can mix 'n' match and/or wear for a simple, chic look.  We love having a mix of things in our wardrobes but we love this concept for our work wardrobes because as most of y'all know, we both work in the legal field and have a lot of restrictions in regards to what we can wear to work, conferences and court.

Katie and I are wearing the same dress but we styled it two totally different ways -- we loved the versatility, it's made of a comfy stretch cotton.  I think these might be our favorite "basic" pieces to date and we had a really fun experience choosing them.  They're from The Storm Sisters Lula Roe which is a shop presented via a Facebook group (basically, it works a lot like all our favorite Swap and Sell Groups on Facebook).  We both have a handful of items we can't wait to share with y'all (like this dress and this skirt) but I think my favorite thing is that if you fall in love with a style its offered in lots of colors/fabrics/designs and they make for great layering pieces.
