We love stumbling across new brands, so we were excited to hear from Dolly and Dotty, a vintage reproduction company out of the UK. We spent hours combing the website (their selection was huge). Everything is incredibly reasonably priced with dresses falling on average between $50 - $60 and sizes running from a US2 - US20. Katie chose some staple separates including a scoop neck Stripe Top that has a cute little cutout in the back. She paired it with a Pencil Skirt which are our favorite "look put together but feel comfy" items for work.
I chose the Sherry Rockabilly Diner Dress which reminded me more of something I'd wear to a western event and less of a diner.... I suppose you can take the girl out of Nashville but not the Nashville out of the girl. It has cute little embroidered roses, black pipping along the neckline and sleeves and arrived with both a black and white fabric belt. I thought overall, the quality was really nice, especially for the pricepoint and I know I'll be wearing this dress again. I paired it with (of course) cowboy boots + a cowboy hat. Before I moved to Nashville, I used to hoard vintage cowboy boots but I find myself almost never wearing them now, as they're sort of the ultimate tourist attire but, I loved breaking a pair out for the day and I need to more often. Also, I've been waiting to wear this little boy's Red Cowbot Hat for an eternity now and was stoked to finally find an excuse and channel a different June (Carter Cash) for a day.
