It's probably glaringly obvious by now, but we are both 'Georgia Peaches' and proud. That's why when we saw Luxulite announce on her Instagram that she was making a batch of peach brooches we were both ecstatic and we received a stream of DM's from people equally excited as we were that these were released.

I'm a sucker for anything peach-themed so that + my love for Luxulite combined was pure bliss for me. I knew to expect the same amazing quality that Katy of Luxulite always produces--what I didn't expect is that the peach brooch would be so large! This brooch is really a statement peach...piece, statement piece. The bright confetti sparkles of my peach brooch really added some much needed color to this otherwise slightly boring green vintage dress. I keep this dress strictly because the tiny matching belt fits. Also, I drive past this puke orange wall every day on the way to work and I eventually had a reason to pose in front of it.

Jumbo Georgia Peach Brooch (non-confetti) c/o Luxulite
Va Va Voluminous Petticoat | Modcloth
Sparkly Red Shoes (called Brook Red) | BAIT Footwear
I got this dress on super sale from Modcloth (god only knows I couldn't afford the original, $300+ price tag) and even though it gives me awkward arm fat (oh well, arm fat happens) I love the shit out of it. It's incredibly comfortable, the neckline is uunique and it has pockets! I broke it out because what better to go with my new peach brooch than a cherry dress. It's sort of an outfit fruit salad. It's a pretty busy dress so usually I throw on some pearls knowing most of my brooches would get lost amongst the pattern, but a brooch this size + color scheme was the perfect compliment. Also, I think I may have contracted malaria while taking these photos in my back yard. So. Many. Mosquitoes.
Do you own any Luxulite pieces or have a collection? If so, post photos! We'd love to see!
