I'd seen designs from ElloThere floating around online and was so excited to have them create something for Collin + I. They were so communicative and great, even when we had a couple of last minute requests (I'll share those later ;) ). I love that they gave my dress detail so it wouldn't just be printed white and that they even gave Collin a little plaid bow tie and striped socks. I'd had high hopes for ordering vintage stamps and using them on all the envelopes, but when you start running out of time, you're like... f*ck it, birds + flowers will work JUST FINE.
I picked up a few different ribbons to tie up the invitations, mainly because I knew I'd get tired of staring at the same one. While I was freaking out about getting all our invitations stuffed and mailed out in one night, Collin made sure to 1) keep the mood ligthhearted and 2) get invitations out to the REALLY important people... and make sure their invites were properly doodled upon. Then, I left for Georgia to beg Katie to help me with more wedding crafts, do another fitting with my dress and do another run through with my hair.
If anyone has been wondering what we've been doing with allllll thattttt ribbon from last wedding post, our venue had a lot of restrictions as to what we could have during our "exit" so after deciding bubbles weren't really our thing, Amelia and I started frantically googling trying to figure out other options. I was so happy to find these ribbon wands! I honestly can't wait to see all the men in my family waving these things... the photos will be the perfect mixture of genuine happiness and reluctance.
